Thread: would anyone like to help me? preety please.

hi out there, i wondering if any of you would like to help me. im in the middle of setting up my photography business after studying for a good few years and finally having a house with room for a studio. anyway i have done an extra unit at college which i have to hand in at the start of may. my idea for this is to use the phrase " i advocate glamour, every day every minute." and to take images of burlesque ladies in their costumes etc in housewifey situations ie in a small supermarket, knitting etc. the thing is i dont know any performers and i cant afford to pay ppl but i will provide munches and buckfizz or whatever you would like and also prints for you to use as you wish i would also be including them in a small exhibition (with permission) during the year hopefully.
so if any fab person on here would like to help or strike up a deal i would be forever grateful to you.

Ooh we could always look at getting you involved with the Burlesque Photo Co-operative if London is good for you. We're looking at march for the next shoot, although no further plans than that have been made yet.

not sure on date yet, im in manchester and i would love to come to that burly photo group thanks for asking me i would love to but so much on and lack of funds etc are perventing right now but i will make it to one.maybe work on ben coz he could go see his mates who live there.

Well as I say we've only set a rough date so far so nothing planned yet. Ben would be more than welcome, we had a 'man-creche' by the bar with a film on last time :-)

yep drop him off there with a claen bum and a nice toy to play with and he be quiet for hours.

Really. It sounds like fun! I've done some similar stuff before as well, and it was fun - I did a shoot with a photographer who's also a burly girl, inspired by the fact that we often find ourselves in mundane situations all glammed up. So I went to a train station in a ballgown!
