    Thumbs up Book Recommendations

    Hello everyone. I am creating a wish list for my family for the holidays on amazon.com I am looking for ideas for good books to own like budget costuming, or costuming ideas, burlesque related or books you found to be inspirational. I already have "Pretty Things" on the list. Thanks

    I initially mistook your introduction as books that you had personally read Bea! I was in utter envy at your ability to be such a voracious reader and find the time to be a burlesque superstar!

    I would also like to recommend Pin-Up Grrrls: Feminism, Sexuality, Popular Culture I’m still ploughing my way through it but so far it is very interesting.

    I just thought I'd bump this thread as it's taken me three nights to find - I've got vouchers to Amazon from my brother and parents and remembered Beatrix had given us a superb list of books we should/could read.....so just in case anyone else has book tokens or amazon vouchers to spend - here you go.

    (Moderators - is there any way of making this list a sticky or perhaps put it in the Q&A section?)
