Thread: Anyone fancy a little bit of modelling?

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of projects on the go at the moment and think a few people may be interested in taking part.

The first is an exhibition I am working on - it is called 'plus size and proud'. The exhibition will be displayed in two Midlands galleries during 2010.

I am a plus size female photographer who strongly believes you do not have to be a size zero to be gorgeous.

I am not saying that being a size zero is wrong; I would just like to change people's perception of bigger people.... and show everyone how gorgeous curves can be.

My exhibition will feature a selection of every day people who are above a size 16. I have people involved ranging from a male builder who is in his 40's to a young 22 year old female actress - all people in the exhibition are proud of their curves.

Ideally, I would like to have a couple of people from the burlesque community as this represents part of me too.

I'd like one performer to appear in costume but other people can show the real you... whether this be in your everyday work wear, vintage dress etc..

My 2nd project is working in association with Annabelle's Wigs - http://www.annabelleswigs.co.uk/

I am looking for up to 5 people to model a range of wigs that the online store stocks. The images taken will mostly be headshots only and you must be comfortable with your image(s) being displayed on Annabelle's Wigs website.

As a thank you for being involved, I will provide each person with a selection of digital images to use online to enhance your portfolio - or if a non performer a copy of your favourite image from your photo shoot.

Photo shoots will take place at my studio in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. A fantastic studio where you will have a glass of champagne, enjoy the music and have some fun. Please note that you will need to provide your own transport to the studio (although I provide transportation to collect you from the train/bus station).

Hey, I'd be interested in the Annabelle's shoot, I've already got one of their wigs and I'm in love with it!

Just want to say a quick thank you to all the lovely ladies who will be modelling my wigs.... Cant wait to see your shots....
