Thread: Bloomers!

Does anyone know how to sew up a pair of short bloomers? Is it only to make a pair of shorts and then put lace and elastics on them or what? Anyone ever tried?

you may have to search for a pattern. its a bit of a pain but you can get books on patterns from the victorian period etc. that can show you how to do it all. it just takes a lot of leg work. or (for the cheaper option) you can have a look in your local library cos they may have some pattern cutting books there. some places are great for that sort of stuff
