Names... where did you get yours?
It's been really interesting seeing all the different stage names people have come up with, and I get to wondering sometimes how they came to be.
For years most of my nicnames and online handles have involved "tiger" and when I was coming up with options "tiger tiger" seemed to sit best - not only was it my grandads fav poem, but it was also more versatile than the others (didn't have connotations that would seem out of place if doing something to 50s music one day and heavy metal the next).
So I am really interested to know - anyone have any really cool stories behind their names? Did the name just find you? Was it a struggle trying to find something the fit just right? What other names did you toy with and throw away?WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Well my name found me and it wasn't made up for my Burlesque Persona.
As a kid I loved Scooby Doo! In 1985, at the ripe old age of 9, Hanna Barbera did a series called 'The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo'
I was obsessed! There was one character I loved, his voice was amazing, creepy and odd. He was called Vincent Van Ghoul, and was a Warlock in the cartoon, voiced by non other then Vincent Price. I now Adore Mr Price!
My real name is Katie, but the vast majority of my friends call me Kitty. A fair few years back I started making rockabilly/psychobilly accessories, cocktail hats, jewellery and fur wraps and called my little business Kitty Van Ghouls Vixen Boutique.
The name stuck with me and I have been known as KVG ever since, so it made sense just to keep it as my Burly name. Also my little black tom cat is called Vincent 'Deja Vu Schrödinger' Van Ghoul
Oh and the little addage of The Countess Rackula was bestowed upon me last week by my lovely friend Tamsyn after taking a photo of me where I look particularly vampish and busty

I came up with my name because i've always gone red in the face easily, sometimes when i am embarassed or nervous or sometime simply just when i have adrenaline rushing it causes me to blush, also when i panick aswell etc I had always been really concious of it and hated the fact that i blush so easily but then I though ah screw it, I cant hide it so why not embrace it, hence the name scarlet blush.
