Thread: Amazing News!! My own show!!

So my partner had a gig in this new club on Sunday, and I went along and he introduced me to the guy who owns it who also owns loads of big clubs in Belfast, he organises Electric Picnic and Oxygen festivals too.
I told him that for ages I'd been wanting to buy the place be bought and turn in into a club, and he asked me what I'd have done.
So I told him about all the burlesque stuff, some of the ideas that I had (including a new circus thing I've been thinking) and he loved everything I said. He said he's been wanting to do something like that for a long time but wouldn't know where to start, and I told him I knew exactly where to start!!
So he said he loved my ideas and energy, gave me his number and told me to phone him after I thought about it.
I phoned him yesterday to make sure he was being serious, and he asked me to draw up some ideas, get some references, some girls lined up, decorative ideas, and figure how much money I'd need to get it on its feet. Then he emailed me this morning saying he wants to meet up in two weeks and I have to have a profile built with all my ideas.
I am so effing excited, I can't believe it!!! Thought I'd share my good news here!

Thank you all, I'm thrilled!

Jake, I asked him for six months because I want to perform too and having just had a baby, I thought that'd give me enough time to sort myself out. But he said, "no, three months". So I'll try my very hardest to do everything that needs done by then, and focus on the development of it rather than my own performance.
I'm not a business woman and I've never executed anything like this before, but I know three months isn't very long. But thankfully he has a huge ledger simply filled with names and contacts of EVERYTHING you could ever possibly need.
He's a terrifying man, he's so successful because he just demands something and expects it done, and I swear I am shatting myself about letting him down lol
