Halloweeny/Skeleton acts xx
Hi everyone!
I'm in the middle of developing my first act (it/I need a lot of work beforehand - but a girl can dream) which has a skeleton theme to it, I wondered if anyone knew of any acts that involved skeletons... I don't want to be stepping on anyone's toes!
My idea's fairly straightforward, but I wanted to make sure that it wasn't too similar to anyone else's before I got too invested in it. I did a quick search not really knowing where to look, and didn't come up with much.
Thanks so much for your help!

The only skeletony act I can think of that I've come across is Cherry Deville- It's a Day of the Dead theme and I think she has bones painted on her but I haven't actually seen the act, just pictures, but you might want to have a peep. xx

I use a sugar skull mask in my Dia De Los Muertos act, but it's not very skeleton-y apart from that.

I'm working on zombie, vampire, werewolf and skeleton themed costumes but mainly with the intention of compering a Hallowe'en show rather than performing.
I too will be trying to avoid treading on any toes (or tarsals - see?) especially of anyone who may be performing on the night - hence so many works-in-progress at once!

Hmm... I can't see that anyone's doing anything quite like mine - I'm going to start making the costume for fun anyway! I'll see how it all goes

There are photos of my act and costume in my profile photo albums, although sadly none of my masked assistant!

Thanks! I did it in about 15 minutes tops.
Steady hand and plenty of practise drawing skulls (art student) I wanted to spend much longer on it, but a performer pulled out the lineup so my act got moved up the bill meaning I was pressed for time getting ready!
My inspiration came from Sylvia Ji's fantastic art work.
