Performance Prices
Ok so no one likes to talk money but was wondering how somebody knows how much to charge (when they are at that stage) for performances? I am not ready for all that yet...its been a while since a graced the stage (horrible boss!) but how do you decide?

thats the last thing I want....a huge debate and any offence caused... though it would be interesting to know how it is factored.....

It's really quite easy. First timers can simply follow the instructions below:
- Think of a number between 50 and 100.
- Double it.
- Divide by four.

My firend is trying to organise a burlesque night and was quoted some prices by some new performers and from what I have seen he has been over quoted.

Sorry babe its normal stage time but some places will pay your expenses if not I normally managed to get some payed work to make up for it but that was not always possible. As has been said recently try and get pictures, video , travel expenses or really good feed back from more experienced performers. the other thing is if say I saw you I can then recommend you to other promoters looking for new acts. that happened to me a lot.

thankfully for me I am far from ready to ask for payment on anything other than my modelling but i have notices through helping friends to organise events that alot of new performers think payment is automatic. Though it would be nice to have everyone paid.
Anyway I am going to bed now. sorry if this thread was in rude/offensive etc. Like I said before...no one likes to talk about money thingys.

I am off to bed....I dont have the energy for a debate but thanks my honey-bees for the advice. I have sent your advice to my friends so they know what to expect when asking people for prices.
Nightie night my darlings
