Thread: Burlesque dream gave me an idea for a new act!

I had a really vivid and unusually coherent dream the other night where I was performing a new act! I was a bunny who was raiding a vegetable patch! and I had a big bowl full of 'salad', lettuce leaves made of green shimmery fabric, cucumbers and tomatoes made of felt, and I was in it doing a funny version of the martini glass dance, but in a bunny suit with bits of lettuce etc flying every where! then I did a fan dance with 'lettuce' fans made out of the same shimmery green fabric, and then a bit with a big felt tomato and cucumber! at the end a man ran on dressed as a gardener and wielding a pretend chopper and chased the rabbit off! I actually woke up giggling! I'd love to actually make the dream a reality, is anyone else doing a similar act at the mo?

lmao well I've never heard of/seen anything like it!! I hope you go ahead with it, it sounds like a fabulous act!

I can think of a fabulous way to make fabric lettuce leaves if you decide to go ahead! I've only used it before to make seaweed for a waternymph tutu and snowflakes for a drag snow queen, but I think it would work a treat if you want your lettuce leaves to be crisp, not floppy!

Tee hee! thanks girlies! think I will give it a go, yayy! One or two practical issues to be worked on, like how to transport a massive salad bowl (!), but i'm sure there are ways round them, e.g. use a customised blowup paddling pool instead!
