    Default Too Cheesecake?

I've been asked to do a performance on Valentines Day and to have a routine to go with a 1920's prohibition era/speakeasy theme.
Apart from only finding out about it a few days ago (they had a cancellation) and having to think up something new, I'm a bit concerned what I am planning could be 'too cheesecake'. It's being held in a rock club and I've been told by someone who performed there previously that it's not a typical crowd who would go to see burlesque (there are other acts on, bands etc so it's by no means a burly night) so I don't want to do something that they won't like.
Me and my fella are both rock/metal fans and said he thinks it's a bit too much like a cabaret and he wouldn't enjoy it if he had gone as part of a rock night.

    What do you guys think?

    Claire xxxx

You can never have too much cheesecake hon!
I think if its part of an ensemble night where there will be other styles you don’t have to worry too much…so long as ‘Burlesque’ is on the flyer somewhere the punters should know what to expect.

firstly.. CONGRATS honey on being asked. Secondly...work it the way you love and know. The rest of the audience will follow suit!

I love and adore cheesecake (though I hate the food hehe). You can never have to much and I always think that the world has to little so go forth on a mission to spread cheesecake to the world one club at a time!
