I've seen it live several times, Countess B, and I cry every time.... Dickie Beau is a genius.

I can imagine that in the flesh that would be incredibly, spine tinglingly moving. I was surprised by the effect it had on me, actually!
Have just watched his Waltzing Matilda video several times on YT ... so clever!
Just added another to the evergrowing list of "things to do and people to see"

he does a full-length show of three 'icons' Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland and Britney Spears. it's astounding.
the night he did Judy at my cabaret KUNST, the crowd started off laughing a lot (she's very witty at the beginning). and then by the end, there was just total, pin-drop silence. the bar staff even stopped serving or cleaning. they just stood and watched.
he's also a totally lovely bloke. if you ever get the chance to see him i can't recommend him enough.
