    Default Burlesque wedding bouquet.

Im looking for advise found this forum, so thought I would ask the experts.
I make wedding bouquets, and Im thinking of making a burlesque style one.
What would you expect from a burlesque wedding bouquet? And would you have a burlesque style wedding?
Ive had a look around on the net and cant see any burlesque bouquets, but if anyone knows of any then could you let me know as I wouldnt want to have a similar style to someone else.

It certainly wouldn't do any harm to have a few rhinestones and feathers in it!

I'm getting married next year and having a cabaret reception so would be very interested in seeing the results!

I think some dramatic colours deep reds and shocking pinks, also I sugest having a look at the kind of flowers used for hair flowers. hope that helps.

The thing is, there's no one style of burlesque...so 'burlesque style' is quite vague.

There's victoriana, there's American Classic, there's circus, there's pinup, there's 60s go-go...all of which have such different themes and aesthetics.

Thankyou thats really helpful. Sounds like I need to do a bit more reseach into the styles.

My thoughts were a couple of feathers coming out at an angle at the back. Some little flowers with crystal and pearl centres, and little bows, and maybe a couple of strings of pearls.

I will do a bit more research and get some stuff and have a little play with it and see what the result is.

Love the idea of a cabaret reception, that sounds great.

Which out of those do you think is the most popular?

I'd say probably American Classic, with a bit of cabaret thrown in.

I always think of bouquets being quite personal and tailored to the individual, so I am sure if you offered a variety of options...

My wedding wasn't "burlesque" but I made my own feather bouquet (as I hate flowers), so it did sort of end up with that look.

And I actually do have a "bridal" themed routine (using my wedding dress, lol), and I hadn't thought about having a bouquet in it, but I would be interested to see what you come up with in the end!

I think you need to do some market research....

I use SurveyMonkey: Free online survey software & questionnaire tool you can create a 10 question survey and you email it out to customers etc...(in fact we are due to send one out later on today)

    Market research is invaluable......

    Good luck.

You have all been so helpful thankyou so much. And if it works out well Im willing offer a discount.

Had a look at the survey page, and it offers the option to put up a link, so I will put one on here if nobody minds? Im not sure if thats allowed or not.
