Default Too old to begin burlesque?

    Hello all,

You couldn't offer a gal some advice, could you? My problem is this: Having been a fan of burlesque for the last few years, I've decided to finally take the plunge and book myself some classes. But what with my 25th fast approaching, I can't help but wonder if I'm too old to begin. How old were you ladies when you started?

That actually made me laugh my mouth of orange juice up through my nose! I was totally expecting you to say 45 or something...

I've been a burly fan for years and kept wanting to give it a go, then decided 6 months before my 30th, it's now or never. I've now performed twice and have more bookings on the horizon.
My mum came to my High Tease performance and loved it, she's been asking me if she's too old to do it, I've said of course not! She's 58!!

Good grief woman, stop dithering and get on with it!!!! I started at 37 so I guess I must be WELL over the hill for a beginner age-wise!!!

    Good luck with it all
