    Just to pop up a quick money saving tip about the States entry process,
    Do the ESTA before Sept 4th if you're planning on going over anytime in the next two years. It's free at the moment, but after the 4th they'll be charging.
    It's valid for two years so might be worth it

    Be warned that this will also depend on your nationality. A Bangladesh passport like mine will have a zillion different requirements than, say, a British passport.
