I echo Kittie & James' words.

A fantastic event, superbly organised from the moment of arrival (10am) to the time we departed (2:30am)

Hardly saw any of the show however the performances we caught a 30 second glimpse of were amazing (Kittie, Vicky B, Roxy & Joe B).

Well done to everyone involved - performers, organisers, trade vendors, sponsors.....TipTop are proud to work alongside you all.

Me too, I thought yesterday's Delicious was absolutly fantastic.

From a traders point of view, it couldnt have run any more smothly.... and I even had a lovely man to help me load up my car at the end of the night.

I was the same as Deb, sadly I didnt get to catch much of the performances, but what I saw was amazing.. The great hall where everbody performed was totally packed.. I couldnt see a spare seat anywhere....

Thank you so much Jules and SOTA... I feel very happy to have been involved...

    p.s. when's the next one!!!!...

Great to meet you guys too. One thing that did baffle me was how Miss Jeu Jeu La Foile actually managed to lose her hatstand!? We often have performers lose things backstage, but as far as I know, nobody has ever managed to lose something that's nigh on 6-foot tall.

Jeu Jeu - if you read this, even though I was highly impressed with both your performance and the fact you managed to lose an object of this magnitude, I hope you got it back safe and sound!

    Thank You

Firstly on behalf of the whole Delicious team, I have to admit to being completely overwhelmed by the amount of messages, forum posts, emails & texts that we have have received and read over the last 24 hours. Clearly the 8 months of hard work & planning that went into the Delicious event paid off, and we're thrilled that it lived up to everyones expectations.

Secondly, I feel it is appropriate to offer sincere thanks & credit to the following, some of who worked almost none-stop for 18 hours, and without whom it would have not been possible :

Phil & Sue + all the State of the Art Promotions team on the day, our co-promoters & fellow conspiritors in the creation of Delicious !

The whole Heresy n Heelz stage team who delivered a seamless production of some incredibly technically challenging routines, in particular Fleur du Mal (Stage Manager) + Spankalicious (Asst Stage Manager), Nick, Isadore la Belle, Vicky & Jodie

The Heresy n Heelz management & hospitality team for looking after the guests & performers on the day : Rik, Kieron, Lorraine, Bea Sinful, Phil, Cherry Belle, Lindsay, Sugar Kane, Ivana Delite, Lillie Lashes

The Derby LIVE Assembly Rooms venue team, for their technical & operational services & support, in particular Nigel Palmer (House Technical Manager) & Richard Wheeler (House Manager)

DJ Mikey Wong + all the bands & sound/lighting engineering crew

All the main show cast & Newcomers Competition finalists for their professionalism & dedication, and our compere Rosie Lugosi for presenting the whole show in her usual unique style.

Bev Lee Harling (of Mediaeval Baebes) for the stunning live violin accompaniment to Natsumi Scarlett's Marie Antoinette routine

All the traders especially Lady K, Heresy Clothing, Box of Burlesque Delights & Oh You Pretty Thing for Newcomers prize donations

Fiona - Adixxtion Designs, for the fantastic Corsetry Lecture, burlesque waitress outfits & Newcomers prize donation

Steve & Debs of Tip Top Photography for the studio installation & Newcomers prize donation, Karl Bright + Phil Foster of Studio of Malice for stage photography and Jude + Claire + Richard from Number Von Son Video Productions - we eagerly await seeing the results of your work !

Kittie & James (MoB) for all their help & support, not to mention the fantastic workshop they provided

Beatrix Von Bourbon, Joe Black, Charlotte Thomson (and Kittie again!) for doing the unenviable job of judging the Newcomers Competition

Finally to Miss Pink & Fluffy, who both played a huge part in the conception, planning & devlivery of the event, not to mention coping with me on the run-up to it !

I will close with a comment posted on FB by one of the guests, Betty Jane :

"To those people who proclaim that burlesque is just 'glorified stripping', your ignorance spoils you. Tonight at Delicious in Derby I have seen the most breathtaking, graceful and entertaining performances you could imagine. Some almost had me in tears! Burlesque truly is an art form.
    "

Lol at James - although I can happily report that she was reunited with the said large piece of hall furniture before her departure. I am currently half-expecting a text from Roxy along the lines of "Jules, you didn't by any chance see a 10 foot half tonne birdcage lying around while you were packing up....?"
