Hi,
My name is Justine Nicholls (Bonnie Steel). Yes you have guessed it i am new to the world of Burlesque and would love to start my own act or be part of a troupe. Any useful tips would be much appreciated. I have started going to shows to get an idea of the different acts and love the traditional style of Burlesque. If possible are there any troupes that would be wiling to take me under their wing?. I am based in Hampshire and willing to travel. I am also a very quick learner and love to perform as i am primarily a dancer and have been involved in musical theatre.
Look foward to hearing from anyone.

Adventure!
Hi Everyone,
Thank you to those that responded to my post yesterday.
There seems to be a few of us in this area (I'm in Southampton) who really want to get more involved in Burlesque, either as a viewer or a participant, and I was wondering if we could perhaps all meet up and go along to one of the events in Brighton? I don't have a car, so it is very easy for me to suggest we drive down!, but we could all contribute to petrol costs. I can drive so I would be happy to drive a mini bus if we could get a cheap one to hire. We could even get a train or coach down together. I only have a small one bed flat but I would be happy for people to stay over (byo sleeping bag!) en route back to their own homes if it's too far to do in one evening.
This does seem forward for only my second day in the forum but I was just thinking about and thought I may as well suggest it.
Hope to hear from you soon.
