Is there a specific spot in the forums for introductions?
Good evening, ladies and gents!
I'm new to MoB, and wanted to introduce myself; however I'd like to do it in the right spot, and it seems I can't find a thread for introductions specifically.
Am I in the right place?

I don't think there IS a specific spot actually..
So I'll say it right here:
Good day to you, & welcome to the forum
Are you a perform-y type? x

I'll join in the hellos, if I may, both to welcome you and to belatedly introduce myself...
I'm a Canadian compere, living in London. New to true burlesque compere work but plenty of experience hosting improv and Theatresports back home, and was a professional singer (theatre mainly, but almost always as a vocalist and rarely as an actress who sings!) and producer for years. Working on my character and my act now, with the plan to hit the boards myself later this year. Very excited, very nervous!!! Still trying to put my finger on the difference between a solid, competent compere and one that leaves the room electric and hungry for the acts...
I also run a theatre production company, and am in the early stages of preparing to mount a cabaret show in the winter. Ridiculously excited about life right now, me.
