Burlesque music and costume help!!
Im doing a rather ... well for me big burlesque gig in under a week and its a rather unusal theme so im a bit worried on what music and costumes i can wear. It's South American and Alcatraz themed. Nothing of what i've done before.

Any ideas on what to do?WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Enrique Iglesias is very popular in latin america - perhaps use one of his songs for music?
For Alcatraz you could try stripey pj's/frumpy dress etc. something that suggests imprisonment/confinment - maybe even some kind of uniform. you could strip out it to show a glamourous costume underneath, representing the real you 'free at last'.
Not sure this makes much sense, but hope it helps and good luck with the show xx
