Thread: Burlesque talent needed...

Hi,

I'm working with a drinks brand to promote eclectic talent in London and am looking to make one of the events Burlesque themed. Dates aren't confirmed yet but the events are going to run throughout May. We plan to publicise the events and give the varied talents we display some much needed exposure. If you would like to perform at one of the events or wuold like more info please reply to this thread or alternatively contact me directly at ian.fleck@theloungegroup.com. If you play an instrument as part of your act it would be a bonus.

Thanks for getting back to me. Thought i'd try and answer all your questions in one post. The events will be held prodominantly on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They will be in bars and venues across London although we haven't decided whether we will have one evening purely of Burlesque, or have it as part of a range of acts.

In terms of the type of performance it will have to be, which i'm sure your acts are, tasteful. The bars will want to maintain a respectful atmosphere as do we.

If either of you have pictures or footage of your acts it would be great to see them. Send them to my email address at the top of the thread or send me links to any youtube/ myspaces you may have.

i would love the chance to perform! I am relatively new to burlesque, and i would love to have the opportunity to perform in public. i have been attending workshops and practising loads! I live in Aberdeen, but i am willing to travel, as this would be a wonderful opportunity for me. thanks so muchxxxx
