Thread: Music?!?

I have no problems picking songs for my routines and like to use what i'm comfortable with which is usually alternative music.
However i've been wondering whether if the song is a little alternative/unknown then the audience lose interest?!?I've had no real problems that i'm aware of but just wondered what people think... maybe i'm being little paranoid?!?

i personally dont think you'll have a problem with alternative routines. after all.. its you the people are watching and in Manchester, where ive just moved from, its very very acceptable!!!!

thanx... it's just i'm doing in shows in May and there in smaller outta town venues but yeah i think i was being a bit paranoid so i'll go ahead as planned :twothumbs:

I often hear songs and think "wow!" and try find out what it is. I try do routines to alternative songs as well but it can depend on your venue. xxxx

Can anyone recommend favorite burlesque music? Individual artists, bands, or compilation CDs.
