Question What is the done thing?

    Hi all,
just wondering about the correct way of using many of the new skills I am learning as a burlesquer. For example I've recently starting singing again after a very long pause and the response has been very good and possitive. So I was wondering if I was offered bookings as a singer do I return to charging a lesser fee as I have less recent expeirence of performing in that capacity?

I dont think you should charge less... I think the more skills, the more you're worth. Even though you may have less singing experience the fact that you're a performer will lift up your show.

I echo what Odile said! Its about what you think your worth. If your singing is up to scratch, then go for top whack. Then if the bookers want to negotiate, you are in a better position. But as Odile said, with your Burly experience, you will have that extra dimension to your performances that will command an audience far more than just a lady standing on the spot and singing...
