Thread: First live burlesque show at Volupte Lounge

I had my first live taster of a burlesque show at the Volupte Lounge on Saturday afternoon. The gateaux (tableaux) vivante, in my humble opinion, was the most memorable - although she wasn't the headliner or even named. It just goes to show that there is no such thing as a small part!. Her facial expressions were brilliant!
I loved the witty stories that went with Vicky Butterfly and Rosy Cheeks performances - they really did make me giggle out loud! Millie Dollars costumes were awesome.
I'm definitely not about to jump ship now!

I did my debut at this event, it's a fabulous afternoon. I too really liked the tableaux, there were three ladies, and the story was a WI cake baking competition! If you fancy going to another one, myself and Heather Sweet are going to the October one, if you fancy joining us xx

Oh come on November the 3rd I am performing at that one. I am only in London for that day and have to run off for my train after but it would be lovely to have some friends in the audence. Hay Twinkle are you coming to Heather's birthday bash on Sunday I think it is going to be a wild night.

I am going to have to take two trains, a bus and a tube to get there and the same home, CRAZY
I can't wait, everyone that has performed there has said how much they have enjoyed themselves.

Heya, it's the last week of October,27th I think. I'll myspace Heather, she booked a whole table but so far it's only me and her, so it will be fun to have another lady join us! Are you coming too Diva? xx
