Some of you may remember that I did a wee call out for models before Christmas last year for a series of paintings i did of performers back stage. You may remember i asked for candid photographs from performers of themselves or friends backstage at events, to which you personally owned the rights to distribute (dont want any angry photographers beating down my door please!).

Well, I can announce that once again i'm working on a new series, im looking for similar photographs, backstage or onstage, with an emphasis on costume and drama, with a special emphasis on masks as the theme (although not entirely certain yet) is likely to be 'masquerade'.

All models will be credited when the artwork is displayed. It is most likely going to form a large portion of my work for this years Danse Macabre exhibition in October Danse Macabre. Expect some very dark, very decadent paintings!

(remember, please only send photos you have permission to me, I'm incredibly scared of all photographers, they have heavy metal equipment and hot lights which are very useful for beating artists round the head with, all I have to protect myself with is a propelling pencil, frayed paintbrush and a pot of black ink)
