WooHoo!
Not Burlesque but just had to share :-):excited:
My absolute favourite band in the world (Apocolyptica) Are playing Portsmouth!
News had had me bouncing up and down ever since I found out - makes me remember what Christmas was like as a kid. Wonder if it's to late to make a calendar counting down the days to the gig (December)
:excited:
Can't wait - makes up for a really crappy day :-)
Anyone got anything they're really looking forward to?WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

I have a few things I'm looking forward too.
In July our first own Burly night Coquette in York and in August I'm going home to Germany for a week. So can't wait.

It's my birthday on Saturday!!!
I'm going to Nando's with my boyfriend and then we are going to a local rock club with my best friend, all dressed up as, well, army- navy type people. It's gonna be fun
And hopefully it will be a nice way to relax. Had a crazy couple of weeks, been uber busy at uni then my Grandad died now I'm on school experience and the funeral is on Friday (which is actually the date of my birthday but I'm postponing that till the next day).
And then I have a week off and my boyfriend is going to try and get the week off so I can just lie in his bed all week
Yeah looking forward to Saturday onwards

I like Apocalyptica also - one of their songs is my MySpace page music, unless it's been deleted recently!

Oh December - Hope you have a fantastic time - Sounds like you deserve a great night out.
And Gehanna - Aren't they great :-D (And I'd say that even if Perttu wasn't so goddamn gorgeous)

Blitzgrrl - my other half is a massive Apocalyptica fan too, can you tell me where/how you found out they were playing over here? If they're touring I'm sure he'd like to know whether they're playing anywhere close to home ^_^

Ooh, I saw Apocalyptica supporting Rammstein a couple of years ago. There's something slightly sexual about a man swinging his metal-hair around while bowing a cello... x
