    Cool Bizarre Mag - Burlesque Special!

    Yep - it' s more news, hot off the press!

    I'm tickled to pre-tantalise you all with the news that the next issue of Bizarre Magazine is indeed a Burlesque Special. Hurrah!

    It's out on July 5th and it contains features on all manner of interesting things including the history of burlesque in Britain, the 'darker' side of the burlesque-striptease 'Golden Era', features on the world's best and most freaky burlesque acts as well as a loads of gorgeous pictures.

    As if you don't know already, we are also helping Bizarre find oustanding new acts for the Bizarre Ball set for October 10th at SEONE. To do this we are hosting contests (aka The Battle of Burlesque) in Edinburgh and London this August.

    Tickets for the ball are selling fast too so be sure to book asap for this monumental night of mental moments! :excited:

    The current issue of Bizarre Magazine says the Burlesque issue isn't out until 8th July - I'm feeling all pouty as I want to read it.

    Even worse, Cherry Scorn brought the Burlesque issue from some dodgy independent newsagent who has dumped it on th shelf, but instead of reading her copy after the Big Burlesque Bout we watched Saw 2 and 4!

    Hurry up Tuesday.

    Oh -I've got the one with Dita on the front. Haven't read it yet but am assuming it's the burlesque issue

    I posted a big well done on here about this earlier on this week as I get it earlier than the shops do ('cos I've got a subscription).

    I'm off to the Bizarre ball (as I've put on another thread) with Jessica Malone and a couple of other friends, anyone else coming?
