Photoshoot
I have a photoshoot this afternoon. Is it just me or does anyone else get really nervous beforehand?
I don't know why. I sort of feel like I'm not going to know what to do and mess it all up. I'm fine as soon as it gets going, just terrified before.
Ah well, best just see what happensWARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Oh telephones! I HATE telephones!
I had to call Orange last week to sort out my bill and afterwards my hands were clammy!
Thanks though, I am looking forward to it... just terrified lolSnowflakes and Sparkles

Tell yourself you're not scared, you're excited...
As long as you relax and enjoy it when you're there, then nerves beforehand aren't a bad thing - and I bet some more experienced people would tell you that if you didn't have the nerves beforehand then you should be worried....The Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...

Thanks, Tempest. I will try that: "I'm not scared, I'm excited"... Ok, it does work a little.
I will let you know how it went when I get back this evening. I bought a lovely big red ostrich feather yesterday. For no reason other than I love it! I'm going to try and incorporate that somehowSnowflakes and Sparkles

Hey hun, don't worry!
I modeled since befor I could walk and talk and my mother even put me in those damned child padgents and I was never nervious.....UNTILL I took a break for 2 years and now I am always nervious untill the shoot starts and then the jitters go away.
I'm sure you will be fine hun, you have nothing to worry about!
Wish you the very best of luck.
*Hugs*

I get more excited than nervous, and considering I only started modelling in May I've been to a few shoots on my own. Which is amazing considering I used to suffer with generalised anxiety disorder.
The doctor said I was depressed & put me on anti-depressants and I think I may have had a bit of depression too but when I saw a counsellor/psychotherapist she said it was more anxiety.
Whatever it is, I've really enjoyed it so far :twothumbs: Hope you do too and it goes really well for you! x
