My biggest piece of advice for anyone doing a shoot..is take less shoes. I know you lady love your shoes, please I understand it, some are wonderful, but CUT IT DOWN, More outfits than shoes. Lots of outfits, a few pairs of shoes. OTher than that enjoy yourself, I am certain you will have a great time!

Lots of photos will be head and shoulders, some will be three quaters length and so a lot of the time your shoes wont be in shoot, however, I have one friend who has created a wall of shoes in transparent boxes, which means that she can use them as a backdrop.

Quick reality check on release forms, The photographer owns the copyright to all he shoots unless a contract to the contary has been agreed and I would advise this be written not verbal. Release forms are NOT for the subject any more. But if you are happy to see youself on web sites and publications go for it. Theres no such thing as bad publicty.

Oh I see your reasoning MIAH, but telling girls to cut down on shoes is like blasphemy!
I once insisted my shoes be in shot, because they were so pretty ^_^ The (male) photographer was slightly bemused, but he did it for me!
Advice for the actual shoot - even if it's only one pair of shoes that you take, make sure they're heels. High heels elongate your legs and make them (and your bum) look better, and they change the way you stand so you'll immediately look taller, more elegant and more confident!
