Feeling sorry for myself!
Meh! Unhappy bunny!
I fell of a horse yesterday and after spending last night in a&e they have found that to my luck i haven't broken anything so no cast! yay! however i have torn my calf muscle and hence im on strong painkillers and have to use crutches. But the main thing thats annoying me is that now i have to wear trainers until the physio has given me the all clear. What makes it worse is that i have all my Halloween do's coming up and im meant to be dancing so thats all out the window, and i cant wear my fabulous shoes the the latex ball
and to top it all of i got my beautiful new dress from fairy goth mother through today but i wont be able to wear it till my leg is better as im thinking satin dress with trainers and crutches isn't a great look!
Ok finished feeling sorry for my self now! Take care everyone and dont go falling of horses!!!!WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Oooo must have been a bad fall to end up in A&E; I hope it gets better soon.
Last time I had a fall I ended up in plaster for 4 months and I have only just started to wear heels again, 9 months later.
At least falling off a horse is more adventurous than falling down the stairs sober.

OMG!
Thank goodness you're not broken! You could always wear the fabulous dress and sit on a beautiful chair and be waited on until you feel better...
Be strong pussycat!

I spent 3 weeks on crutches when I was a holiday camp ents manager. I carried on with all the dresses, etc, and we covered a pair of crutches and a pair of trainers in glitter. Very annoying though, especially when you start to feel better but still just can't wear heels

Oooh that sounds a nasty fall - but remember, a good burlesquer doesn't let crutches get in her way! See Miss Kitten DeVille for an example of how to model Injured Leg Chic!
