    Smile Princes Trust back new Carlisle burlesque club!

    Hello all, soz for my absence online recently, been pre-occupied with other things, like organising a burlesque night in Carlisle-I finally went before the Princes Trust panel at the chamber of commerce last week, it was a bit scary, like the X-Factor! Had to present my business plan, explain what I aim to achieve and how my business will benefit the community, and how I'll manage my overheads. I'm a bit of a business rookie to be honest, although performing for a year as a freelance burly performer last year taught me a bit about marketing and presentation.

    Anyhoo, they said they would call me the next day with their decision, but 20 minutes later I get a call telling me how impressed they were and excited about my ideas, and one of the panel even hired me to put on an event at his local village hall! So I can finally get started with all the fun stuff like booking acts and negotiating with venues, hurrah!
