Thread: HELP! balloon pop!

i am doing a balloon pop and have been practicing for 3 plus weeks now
i generally use 12-15 balloons but feel that i either have too many balloons (and cant see the wood for the trees) or that i dont have enough on me


can someone advise how many is the right amount to use or is it simply a preference thing? :help:

It's a preference thing surely, and doesn't it depend on what music you're using and how you want to sychronise the popping to the music.

Why not ask Anjakinz (or here, but she's Dolly Royale on myspace etc)? She's done a new balloon pop act recently and has decided to use more balloons. I'll try and find the thread....here it is: http://www.ministryofburlesque.com/b...ack-quack.html

when I do my balloon pop I use quite a few balloons, around the 20ish mark. It's hard to see where you're going but It looks great.

but i prat around with my feather and gloves

The song I use for my balloon pop is around that time and I wore gloves too.

*Disclaimer* Just re-read that and realised it could be taken as a dig at Orchid - it was meant to be self-deprecating so sorry Orchid!

I use about 20 x 11 inch latex balloons.

and my track is 3 mins ...

plus i have a pig nose on so i can't see a thing really !!!!

plus gloves and bra that come off once the balloons are all popped.
