Cool MoB TV - An Update

As it's been quite a while since we posted anything about this, I thought it would be prudent to give you all a quick update on how things are progressing.

Firstly, we now have an alpha version of Castlist TV up and running on our development boxes in the office. The main change is that we will now be operating THREE channels instead of just one. They are as follows:

    • MoB TV - Dedicated to burlesque and cabaret
    • Model Sanctum TV - Dedicated to modelling and photography
    • Titter TV - Dedicated to comedy

All of the channels will feature programmes which are based around the talent from our three community sites (MoB, Model Sanctum and the not quite launched yet Show Us Your Titters) and the channels will act as a platform for performers, writers and event promoters to showcase their stuff.

Another feature which we hope will be quite popular is that we will be giving people the ability to add the player (see screenshot) into their own websites by copying a couple of lines of code. With any luck, we should be able to do this for MySpace and Facebook too.

Within the next month, we will begin soliciting ideas and pitches for TV programmes and looking for suitable presenters.

Lots more features to come in due course.

Yay! You might have to take on yet more help mobfather. I can see it now lots more moderators and Lord Dashwood being your own Rickshaw driver to get you around the town to all your lovely meatings with T.V. types.

Great news!!! I can't wait to see all the creative adventures that will be fuelled by this new platform.

But please, PLEASE don't hire any presenters that do the stupid bobble-head thing while they're talking to camera. Jayne Middlemiss was ALWAYS doing this when she presented the Ozone and it annoyed the hell out of me. :wallbash:

Maybe we could film a series called 'Around Burlesque Britain On A Rickshaw'. This would involve Dashy, dressed in nothing but a pair of nipple tassels and a diamante encrusted male-mirkin transporting me across the highways and byways of this green and pleasant land in the rickshaw, interviewing top burlesque talent in each city.

I wonder if rickshaw drivers are like horses and you have to feed them with hay?!

I think you mean MEETINGS, to suggest that I am MEATING TV types implies something totally different!

Bobble head presenters?! I'm now imagining Terrence and Philip from South Park!

That's the idea! It's being designed as a platform to nurture new talent.

lol That would be a great series I wonder if you could actually get a few shots of Dashy actually eating the hay whilst Lady Dashy brushes his skin as though it was a horse's mane

Sorry about the typo but it's really funny so I'm not gonna correct it

I like where this Lord Dashwood idea is going... I think it should be called: Dashing with Dashwood. Perhaps substitute the front of the Rickshaw with a penny-farthing, for added style?
