Myself and Steve had an fab evening... totally loved each of the performances, all had their own individual unique style making it an evening to remember.

The singer... Miss Angel LaVey wowed the audience with a variety of songs... despite nursing a very sore throat.

The Decadent Gent made a perfect host for the evening supported by the lovely stagehand Miss Ditzy Diamond.

Paul Brook amazed the audience with his mind blowing skills whilst Mega Ton Trees amazed the audience with his sorry her.. striptease.

Cant wait for the next show!

And a special thanks to Angel LaVey who worked whilst very ill.

Angels bad health did mean that Miss Ditzy Diamond was litterally running the show backstage, I'd just like to publically acknowledge her incredible ability to step up to the plate when needed - you really are a Diamond.

Default Miss D would genuinely like to thank the Silk Stocking...

I have just written a long gushing post but managed to lose it. Damn technology!

It went along the lines of Fab time; splendid to meet you, marvellous singing (I wish I could sing properly when in full health, never mind ill - huge respect); cracking audience; lovely atmosphere; particularly loved 'Casino du Mal'; (and Fleur's red shoes); Paul Brook - Good, ain't he?; would have liked to have stayed, but owing to own stupidity I had work in the morning. So your moved to Saturdays are not only a triumph for your show, but might keep me in employment a bit longer

However the most important bit went...:-

...and I would particularly like to thank you for making a fuss of my fella on his birthday weekend. (What you don't know is that he lives in Lancs, and for assorted dull work/financial/other reasons we will have to remain 110 miles apart for at least another year or so, until some things are sorted out. We sometimes see each other most weekends, sometimes once a month, and organising our lives can be a right PITA occasionally! But not withstanding that, he does most of the driving. It gets hard sometimes.)

So this weekend was definitely his birthday 'weekend' of doing lots of fun stuff, and you just topped it off with such thought and style. You're all marvellous people, and I am, for now, the best GF in the world.

So, a sincere thanks for that. :twothumbs: In fact I don't know how to say that without making it sound gushing, but I mean it.

Here's to the continued success of the Silk Stocking! Hurrah!

    xx

    p.s. Ooooh!

That's hppened to me in the past also - sometimes I copy a long post just to be on the safe side. The internet is very twitchy.

Thank you. A lot of planning, argueing and stressing goes into each show. Angel and I try to get a good line-up of differing styles and acts to please our audience.

For our last show we actually did a huge amount of networking with the magic scene to get Paul Brook on our stage - I'd like to thank Chris Jonah, a local close up magician, who sent us in the direction of Paul.

I'd also like to pass on Paul's thanks to you guys - he does a lot of corporate work in which he sometimes plays to audiences that aren't always interested in the show (his and the other performers he works with) on Sunday night the Silk Stocking Striptease Show audience made him feel really appreciated. Paul will be coming back at some point in the future.

Had you not mentioned your boyfriends birthday in passing then we couldn't have sprung the suprise on him. We try to make sure that we look after our audience as much as possible, we don't just want to get you in to watch a show once - we want you to keep coming back as often as you can. The caring about you guys does not end once we have your money. And as promoters we value your honest feedback. Personally I also enjoy chatting to my audience after the show and during the break.

Cherry - you earn't your spot as the headliner of our third show. You don't need to thank us, we need to thank you (as well as paying you).
