Making a Fan!!
Im wanting to make a fan to fan dance....but with a twist.
I have A4 size playing cards for my casino act but i want to make a fan with these instead of la feathers.
so heres the hard bit for me.....how would i go about creating a fan structure to place the cards on. im not bothered about it folding up. it can stay open, but i need it to be comfortable to hold.
any advice please x x x x x

Maybe get a some fan staves, extending them with balsa to create a larger frame to attach them to? Of get some large paper fans from ebay and glue them?

This idea has come up before. If you search the fora you should be able to find help.
Just to warn you though, I think somebody else uses this. I *think*!
Good luck with it!Snowflakes and Sparkles

Hmmm i cant seem to do a productive search through the forums. if i type in a few key words it only searches the first and if i type in one word its too brief.
any tips. i am quite new to ministry so im not completely settled yet lol

After a quick search for playing card fans I got this:

Hope that helps

Ok ive just had an idea, and itll be cheaper too.
Im gona make a feather boa out of normal sized playing cards....tell me this has been done and i might weep.
But Im gone make one thats show one card that i can flip and extend (for comedy)....then one abit bigger and bigger until its a row of cards all feather boa'd.

P.s. its easy to think of something when your not trying, yet if you sit all night and think.....nothing.
