and you thought another performer using your stage name was bad enough...
...what about when you find someone random suggesting your stage name as a good name for a newbie to use?!
This week's self-google found this beaut:
Yahoo! Answers - Can anyone help me come up with a few burlesque stage names?
The world's a strange place.
EDIT: And I just found that 'beatrixvonbourbon' is a registered username on Yahoo... but it's not been registered by me!!!WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

I'm not angry at all. I've got the name registered in the places that count...
...it's just a bit weird.

Some guy also left a couple of picture comments on MySpace along the lines of:
- I love women with chestpieces
- I have a copy of the magazine with you (and your chest piece) on the cover
- You might like my chestpiece
...only to find he has a microphone *extremely* similar to mine tattooed on his sternum.
Goddamn. What a strange evening.
At least I won at poker.

I seem to remember when we met at CandyBox your young chap telling me that your name was based around a historical European lady?
Perhaps this Yahoo bloke has a fixation with obscure European aristocracy figures (and was really pissed off when someone else grabbed the name "Franz Ferdinand")...

Funnily enough, I conceived of the name first and then, after an internet search, discovered the historical figure: Countess Beatrice of Bourbon (1320 - 1383).
I just tried to find an interesting web page on her, but could only find substantial amounts of text in German.
