    Hi

It would be a great evening out for both of you...

    check this link out : MySpace.com - CHERRY POP PEEP SHOW - 29 - Female - UK - www.myspace.com/cherrypoppeepshow

The room is above a pub called The Cross in Mosely and early arrival is best if you want a prime view. It does get busy but not uncomfortable. There is a bar upstairs and some seating area too.

Make sure to pop over and say hi to me... I'll be the one with camera in hand just by the stage.

    Hope this helps

Hey none of these are silly questions - its perfectly normal to be apprehensive about something new.

But you'll love the Cherry Pop and it is a perfect first event for you - very good quality night, well worth your money.

Yes you can pay on the door, I tend to get there just before 7 but I buy my tickets online beforehand (but unfortunately my hubby is off to America that day, so I can't get to this one :cry

If you want a good seat you need to be there early - perhaps Gehenna, Angel, Decadent Gent, Miss Ditzy Diamond can suggest a good time?

There's a public car park across from the pub that doesn't charge after 6 (I think).

You'll see a side door marked "Upstairs at the Cross" on the right side of the pub. Go in there, up the stairs, pay on the door saying hello possibly to the lovely Luluspanx or her husband Chance. Get yourself a drink from the bar and go and enjoy.

The evening will start with compere Des O'Connor telling you all to whoop and hollar during the acts and he'll be back and forth to introduce the acts and sing some remarkable witty ditties. There'll also be songs inbetween acts from the fabulous Liberty Pink and midnight cabaret band. And the acts books are fab - Millie Dollar is one of the top uk burlesque performers, and I'm very sad not to be seeing her. And then there's Lil Miss Chievous too who'll you'll love. And there will be magic and stuff from M and M's travelling sideshow.

The show is usually split into two halves, so two performances each from Millie, Lil Miss Chievous and M&M's, and these sandwiched with extra songs and banter from Des O'Connor and Liberty Pink.

Then after the show, Luluspanx will play a great selection of jazz, swing, rock and roll so you can dance the night away if you want to stay on - or simply marvel at some of the great dancers who come along

Has that answered all your questions - it's not a huge place, but not too small or constrictive either - just right

GO! You won't regret it - it really will be a fab show.

Oh the only other thing is dress - there isn't a dress code, though the theme of the show is nautical, so a lot of the ladies and gents will probably be dressed up in red white and blue and there will be some people in nautical fancy dress. There will also be a lot in vintage 1940's and 1950's clothing. But there will also be people just smart. People tend to dress up a bit, to make themselves feel special - but don't worry too much about this, unless you'd like the excuse to primp and preen yourself a tad.
The Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...

My wife, Angel LaVey, and I will be stage managing the event - so please come and say hello when we don't look too busy.

You can probably buy tickets on the door, but you could always ask MoB orum member Lulu Spanx, she runs the show. If you do want a seat near the front then do arrive early.

The performers who work for The Cherry Pop Peep Show are quite high up the food chain - many of them are working the corporate scene where the real money is.
