Thread: Just WHO are Gypsy and Viva?

Well, they seem to be all over the place, United Kingdom, Scotland...VERY cute ladies and from the YouTubes, very talented dancers. I would love to meet them. Viva is on my MY Space but she hasn't written back.

What can anyone tell me about them?

Unless I'm out of date, they teach the MoB workshops as well as perform. That's about it info wise from me.

Ummm... You know Scotland is part of the United Kingdom, right?

Anyway, Gypsy and Viva are both very talented trained dancers from Edinburgh who run the Academy of Burlesque and Cabaret. I believe Gypsy has recently relocated to London to take on a full-time role with MoB.

I've seen them perform together twice and they were fab! The first time I even had the pleasure of having Gypsy place her skirt over my head! What fun!

Seriously, we are teachers/course leaders for MoB Academy and are in the process of setting up more fabulous workshops nationwide for all you lovely burlesque ladies and gents. We like nothing more than sharing our burlesque knowledge and dance training with you guys - and we always try to make it loads of fun!

They are a couple of very strange ladies, to be avoided at all costs.

They eat raw badgers live onstage, they harass me horribly whenever I see them, and I have heard Viva is wanted for "acts of debauchery" in 13 different countries.

You have been warned !!

It's only 12 countries. The 13th country was actually the Netherlands where pretty much anything goes!

I totally agree - although I have to, because Gypsy has promised to give Kittie and me a lift to the train station!!!
