Thread: Dare I title this - "If Richard and Judy don't do it, it's not proper burlesque"?

There is a gob-smacked unusual silence here in Shropshire:

"Richard and Judy have made a saucy new trailer for their new chat show - and have got themselves into positions you've never seen them in before...

With help from a cast of burlesque dancers, Richard's eyes almost pop out at one point as a scantily-clad lady wraps her legs around his body.

It's not just Richard who's getting lucky though - Judy gets surrounded by a bevy of beefcake men too.

If that wasn't bizarre enough, the game husband and wife also fly through the air at some point on wires".

That's so funny!

I feel so sorry for those poor feathers though. They were so excited about being in a fan. They got snapped up by Richard and Judy and thought "Wow, this is gonna be good!" but their feathery fluttery fan-filled dreams were shattered by work experience guy with metres of sellotape :cry:

I daren't watch it - how will I clean my eyes afterwards??

speechless......it's oh so bad...but not quite bad enough to be so bad it's good

I worry for the budget of the show generally if that's the best they could do for the fans

Oh poor Lord Dashwood......Richard's not THAT much better than you, I'm sure if you try your hardest you could, one day, be as good as him in the trailer......(runs away very quickly...and ducks any missiles...)

Did you spot (if you could stomach watching the making of bit after the trailer) the choreographer mentioning reference points such as them trying to evoke Moulin Rouge and the Madonna Material Girl video....and erm Marilyn Monroe stuff - clearly rating Material Girl higher than the masterpiece of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes....... (slaps forehead)

I love the shuffle of heels near the start where the 'burlesque' shuffle backwards ("quick camera 2 get a shot of their bums!") and the sound guy hasn't cleaned up the clackity clack sound of them being in such a big empty studio

It's oh so amateur
