The Goodwood revival last weekend
hi , did any of you manage to make the goodwood revival , we were there for a few days, i have family that race there, what were your thoughts , did you dress 40s.. we loved the whole atmosphere and the clothes ...ooooh and the undies ..what a great shop if i could only remember the name of it ..what katy did iirc and the 40s room were just a couple of them amongst a load of other market type stalls all with what we thought was burlesque potential..please if you get chance try and go next year its just fab.
If you went or even had a stall there can anyone recall the name of the stall with the girl in the black lace dress , it was so fab , my husband couldnt help himself but comment..her friend was in white with a red sash beneath the lace i think.WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

The Goodwood revival is in our diary for most years, couldn't make it this year, too busy putting a new dance routine together. We shall probably miss Rhythm Riot too.
Have you been to that? Rhythm Riot! The problem with working shifts and dancing is that it leaves little time for anything else.

Rhythm Riot
The Rhythm Riot isn't expensive at all. The price is for 3 nights chalet accommodation, whilst the entertainment pass is for 3 nights entertainment which comprises the main band room, a dance hall and a late night pub which Lady Luck take over on Saturday evening.
The chalets have cooking facilities so you just bring your own food, and although it's frowned upon lots of people take drink into the venue so if you're broke then that's the way to go.
In addition there is a vintage car boot sale on the Sunday morning which is free so if you take along all your old stuff to sell you cover the cost of your weekend.
