Yes! I've finally managed to get my first album uploaded (I'll get the hang of this site yet) :excited:

Excellent album my dear. Well done.
Actually, looking at your hubby reminds me that............Even after 53 years on the planet as a Scotsman and 30 somethign odd years as a CD...............I have still NEVER worn a Kilt. I am a "MacNodal O' The Isles" and I have no interest in the Kilt..............Oh well...............................Now, where did I put that tartan frock

Aww
ops:!
Thanks everyone for the lovely comments! I'm glad the huge fascinator I wore to Musselburgh Races is going down so well (what the photos don't show is that it was so heavy it kept falling off - in the end I pinned the damn thing to my head with cocktail sticks as hair pins weren't strong enough)
Glad you are all enjoying my pics, hopefully I'll have another album to put up soon! BTW does anyone know of a good place to get a proper shoot done around Edinburgh/ Glasgow? I'd like to give it a try (especially after seeing all the gorgeous professional shots of the girls on this site) but I'm not sure where to start looking for a good photographer.

Thank you very much - much appreciated!
Ah, each to their own - I'll let the True Scotsmen fight it out over the wearing of the kilt  ! I must admit I love them though - I'm not even Scottish originally and I've got a collection of mini-kilts (I love the shorter ones - very flirty and they're great at disguising the size of my hips - always a plus :twothumbsActually, looking at your hubby reminds me that............Even after 53 years on the planet as a Scotsman and 30 somethign odd years as a CD...............I have still NEVER worn a Kilt.
Well if you believe The Great Gok tartan frocks are supposed to be the next big thing so you have a great excuse to wear one this winter! :winkgrin:I am a "MacNodal O' The Isles" and I have no interest in the Kilt..............Oh well...............................Now, where did I put that tartan frock

I quite like Gok, he makes me smile AND he is such a screaming queen when he wants to be! If he ever advertizes for a CD version of his show I will be first in line! I keep on wanting to send him an email to suggest it but keep bottling out. Louise reckons it would be brill. Another version of "Fey Presto" on the magic circuit!!

Agreed - I love Gok, he's just about the only fashion advice person who is a) nice to people and b) aware that we come in different shapes and sizes naturally and bothers to give advice to those of us who do not have Kate Moss-esque dimensions!
I cannot encourage you enough to send him that email, I think it's a great suggestion :genius: (besides even if he disagrees with me the worst he can say is no). At least if you send it you know what happened, if not you'll always wonder .
