What is "Cheesecake"?
Hi Everyone,
Okay, so I'm having a bit of a noob moment. What is Cheescake? (not the yummy desert)
Everyone always goes on about it and I'm always a bit like

Wikipedia says:
The term "cheesecake" is synonymous with pin-up photo. The earliest documented print usage of this sense of cheesecake is in 1934 [1], predating pin-up, although anecdotes say the phrase was in spoken slang some 20 years earlier, originally in the phrase (said of a pretty woman) "better than cheesecake."
I have a more exact quote in one of the books I'm reading for uni but I can't find it yet - it always seemed a bit suspect to me, but there you go xx
