Thread: How much does a great Burlesque entertainer charge?

I know, but its a question I need answering.
We are a Burlesque themed pro vocal dance act and will be hiring fabulous Burlesque performers to be guests at some of our shows.
I just cant imagine what is a minimum and maximum for a spot that lasts 3 to 7 mins, of course taking into consideration distance.
Please shed some light and maybe we will have one of your amazing performances on our gig.

thats a really tough question everyone has there own rates depending on how long they have been performing, if its a club event, or private. It really depends on who you want and what style of burlesque. Maybe go out and have a look at performers you like and see which ones would work well with your event. Then approach them for quotes. Normally burlesque acts are between 3 to 5 mins unless there is a really big prop involved or fire or something. Also you do normally cover fee and travel and a place to crash or hotel depending on your budget.
What is it exactly that you are doing does sound interesting.

If you're looking for the very top performers you're talking thousands (plural) - there's only a handful of them though.

For the next tier you're looking at £400+ altho that would be for maybe 2 possibly 3 performances.

But as Diva says - try to find some you like and ask them direct for their rates.

And dont forget about boylesque too ...
