Thread: Burlesque and Dating!

I wouldn't get too concerned about the state of the world. In any case, my dating approach is less-than-subtle. Sort of 'hey, you seem to be worth chatting to...' and then we go from there. I rarely meet someone I want to date, but I've met a lot of friends this way. Besides, it gives you someone to talk to (and dance with) at parties.

Alas, I've tried to be the shy girl, and sometimes I meet someone I really like. But then they realise the circles I move in and get a bit freaked. I think I'll stick to the upfront approach... it's always more fun

My friend says 'subtlety is for awkward teenagers'.

It was FABULOUS!!! though a little awkward afterwards as we know so much about each other already....and do we/dont we kiss at the end of the night....tee hee

I am not sure where it is going but if my puppy loves him perhaps he is a keeper. :P

Anyway even if it all goes Pete Tong ( a bit of rhyming slang....like that?!) we promised to be friends as we are so close it would be like losing a part of me if we werent.

we may have locked lips for a fraction of a second...but in true Khandie style I fell off the kerb....never stand on the edge of the pavement...it isnt sexy to be laying sprawled out on the road. Luckly he knows me so well that when he finished laughing he helped me up!

That is so perfect! Those little ridiculous things are what I love when your dating someone new, and their response to the situation reveals a lot more than a perfect nothing-goes-wrong date ever would!
