Well here goes...
I've been single for almost a year now.
I've dated LOADS of guys from ones into burlesqur to others who have never even heard of it and I have met men in loads of various ways (myspace, dating websites, clubs, through friends, work, etc etc).
Generally I tend to fine that men are intimidated by me or else the ones that arn't tend to be loosers who mess me about

I'm so fed up of people saying to me "Loraine, why are you still single?" argggggggggh
I've just kind of given up trying at the momet. I hope that eventally I will find someone worthy of me

Back to the comment about dressing down.... I met my ex when I was hungover at a drawing class and looking like a total mess with no make up on or anything. We went out for about 6 months - he was 29 and I was the longest he had ever dated someone. I knew from the start he wasnt really the dating type but I hoped he would change but I just had to accept that it was him and not me when he finnished things.
Gernally I have found that guys tend to find me more attractive when i dont have more make up on and am more 'natrual or dressed down' although I am always honest with them form the start and am always myself.
Altough at the end of the day you have to be yourself and if someone is not willing to accept you for who you are then they are clearly not worth the effort.
Also I have never dated anyone who has been against me performing. I'm not sure if thats the guys i've picked or else once they get to know me they dont seem to be intimiated by it - I'm actually a really sweet, loyal, down to earth girl!! - and if a guy wasnt happy with me performing I wouldnt date them. simple as.Hettie Heartache - www.hettieheartache.co.uk ~ www.facebook.com/hettieheartache
