    Default Greetings from a newbie...and burlesque basics?

    Hello everyone

    As the thread title suggests, I'm a newbie to this forum. *waves* I've been looking around the threads and decided to jump in and say hi

    I've always been fascinated in vintage lingerie and only recently started to purchase some. My interest in burlesque is fairly recent too - the last few years. I'm not a performer - in fact I'm a published erotic writerops:

    To be honest, I love the burlesque 'attitude'. I'm a size 18 so learning to love my body and find myself 'sexy' is a difficult thing.

    I'm looking forward to posting more and getting to know everyone.

    Also a quick question - is there are beginners guide to burlesque? lol A manual of some sorts? I don't mean just performing but attitude, confidence etc etc.

    Hi Lady Scarlett and welcome to MoB. But be warned.......this site is deliciously addictive!!!

    A good place to start would be the 'Burlesque for Beginners' DVD which you can buy on here. As for the attitude, confidence etc........stick around kid!!!!!!! A short time on here will have you oozing confidence from every pore!!!!!!!!!!! You go girl!!!

    hey ya doll,welcome !!!
    I would suggest that you watch some oldies as well as watching any dvd's,watch the way the classics move and their stage presance!! what type of burlesque are you interested in? Also dont forget to check out Welcome to 21:CP ,we have a big december issue coming up !!! xoxo
