Free 20 image portfolios??
I might be putting my neck rather firmly on a choping block here but, when the weather warms up a bit, those of you who wish too can have a 20 image portfolio done for free by myself.
I will only be doing outside work for this series of shoots as I do not have a decent indoor area to shoot in. Unless of course, any of you in the South coast fancy freezing your bits of in Wareham forest at this time of year!
Basically, I need the "shooting" experience with live human models, be it in Lingerie, Glamour, Burlesque or Fashion, the choice is your which type of "dress" you wish to wear and what makeup, there is only one way I am going to get it and that is by asking and "using" the models I get. I make no promises other than I will give up MY copyrights to all the images other than ONE image for my web site to show what I do only.
Those who are interested please drop me PM first then we will take things from there, those who wish to slate me please do it on the thread
Any other help any one wishes to throw at me in morsel form will be greatly appreciated!

What a fab idea, and very generous of you to give up your copyright.
Ack it's a pity my inlaws are in Portsmouth, or I'd say "Yes please can I" next time we go a-visiting.

Hi chaoskitty. My brain is running around an idea of a few models getting together and coming here or where ever the shoot is going to be, in one car or minibus. If you all do the sums, how much is a photo shoot normally? My tariff is now up on my web site, multiply what ever prices you have by the amount of models type thing and 4 models coming to the shoot in one car is rather cheap!!
Anyway, thank you for responding and you never know what might happen

Umm one question - do you actually have any experience shooting models??
Although it's a generous offer, the only people who will want 20 image portfolios are aspiring models - and portfolios taken by an inexperienced photographer are unlikely to be of any benefit to them.
Why not start off photographing friends and family to get some experience before you offer packages to models? There's less pressure and expectation on you to deliver so you can concentrate on getting the most out of the shoot. Or there's the option of hiring a professional model for a few hours, one with a lot of experience who could help you learn how to direct a shoot.
I just think you're diving in at the deep end here ...

Good questions and observations Fleur. While I have never done totally set up model photography, I have done an aweful lot of "Ordinary" photography over the last 47 years. In the last 7 years I have been coming more and more away from the "Happy Snapper" type of tog that I was.
I have shot football matches, Rubgy matches, Cricket matches, pretty ladies on great big boats, ladies on and around horses, nubile maids showing of in their bikinies whist swimming. Some of those ladies ahd to be told where to stand, how to hold the horse etc.
I know where you are coming from though. But, I think that, after several years playing at this, it is time to get out there and, deep ends don't really bother me.
There has got to be a start line somewhere..................And each journey starts with a single step.

I wish I was closer or I would have bitten your hand off so to speak - but best of luck with it; sounds to me like it could be useful for a few people
