Thread: Songs to Sing

Hi ladies i hope you can help me

I have been a burlesque performer for 2 years now but before that i was a proffessional singer touring army/RAF bases around Europe.

I would now like to get back into singing but incorperate it into my act but am not sure of what songs to sing as i used to just sing 80's numbers of musical theatre songs aswel as up to date music. (managers choice not mine)

So i would really appreciate it if anyone could throw a few songs my way for me to learn so i can get into the studio and record them to send off to my promoters.

In olden days a glimpse of stocking was looked on as something shocking but now god knows - anything goes!!
I was shocked when my sister suggested this one to me as she's not into burlesque at all but i think it works!

Look at me now, maybe I like it this way, old fashioned love story from the Wild Party by Andrew Lippa. Have a look at Stephen Sondheim's stuff he's great.
