I'm sure i will get to love it, im liking all of it so far, i think im gooing to venture up to whitly bay this week t see what there is. (and to see the sea because i am a big geek and love the water. although i cant swim)

God I miss Whitley Bay............seriously you lot, just try moving away from the North East and you'll soon realise how wonderful it really is.....Alnwick, Seaton Carew, Durham, Barnard Castle, Newcastle, the Metro Centre, Darlo, the best fish and chips in the world, the Angel of the North, Bamburgh, Saltburn.....even Trimdon......I miss you all :cry:..................but most of all (and this really dates me because I actually saw it being taken down)....Ayresome Park, I miss you

Burlesque in the Midlands might be fab, but nothing beats the North East

I think you might be thinking of Whitby.....which to be honest is slightly nicer than Whitley Bay (which is just north of the mouth of the Tyne) and also does fantastic fish and chips, and lucky ducks
