Fan Dance
Hey! So I have been thinking about attempting a fan dance and i was just wondering if most of you make your own fans or do you buy them. I would like to make some so that they are more personal and I can pick out the colors, however I don't Want them to look cheap.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!!!

well i make them and do custom dyes in prety much any shade under the sun so if you get frustrated with the idea of making you could always come to me
ostrich.com do kits for making your self but they cost alot and dont look too nice (in my opinion any way)

I just grab a glue gun, bamboo staves and some feathers when i need a pair, although if you want them to look professional i would recommend buying them from someone with a good experience of crafting them, i personally think Glitterburlesque's fans look lovely.
Also Darkteaser is making fans now, you should be able to find her on her by searching.Love Venus x

Can I just second glitterburlesque's fans as an option - mine are from her and they are absolutely fab to work with!

IIRC you can get the parts and then make your own fans and a lot of performers do that too, which is really helpful if you want a very specific colour pattern etc, but it really doesn't end up being much cheaper than buying them fully made up (the cost of the feathers is what makes them expensive, rather than the work involved in making them up).
Best of luck with your fan dance Deb O' Nair! :twothumbs:

You should try a company called Strictly Sensuous - they make fans in almost any colour and are reasonably priced
