    Default Venue licence issues- can anyone pelase advise...

    I have run into a problem with a venue where I am hoping to put on an evening of Burlesque... it seems they have a bit of a worry about 'nudity' and their licence restricts striptease acts..... ie they should not have them!

    Can anyone please help me find a way around this? Technically I don't think of burlesque as a strip considering nipples are covered and pants are worn!

    There is quite a big thread about the licensing laws for burlesque / striptease / nudity with lots of useful information in. Do a forum search and you should find it quite easily.
