Circus Stage show
Hi there guys and dolls,
Just looking for some opinions i guess.
I went to see the Circus of Horrors last night, and i loved it! It has to be the best thing i've ever seen in my life! Totally up my street.
And i sat there thinking hey! i wana do that!
I've had the idea to start up a touring stage show for a long time, some thing simular to the Circus of Horrors, but with a modern day twist rather than being set in the past.
I understand it's a big time and financial commitment, but i do have a passion for it.
The biggest problem i've found in trying to set this up before is getting people to do it!!
I not only need a crew, i need another creative mind on board, and no one wants to seem to play!!
What do we think guys? too ambitious? or do i try again and hope that people will get some motivation!! xWARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

I think it depends on your level of current and previous experience in events management. I expect you would need to devote yourself entirety to this project so you will need the financial and business know-how, as well as the creative and management techniques. Perhaps a research and investigation project will give you a better insight into what would be involved? There are a good number of government information websites about starting business and researching markets. Small Business Gateway is good (I don't know if this is only relevant to Scotland though) and the Revenue and Customs website has some good links.
